ECCTK

ECCTK (Elliptic Curve Cryptographic Toolkit) is a product composed whith cryptographic libraries. The goal of this product is to permit and offer fast development of products which require cryptographic componen. The conception of the products was thinking for companies that would use security functions on there products but without the internal ressources or expertise. For that, the API is very simple and the documentation permit fast understanding of what it's necessary to use for a particular cryptographic functionnalities. ECCTK offer actually a big number of algorithms that are mainly used for security fonctionnalities (authentication, signature, cipher, integrity, secret sharing, ...). Other functions or algorithms can be added on demand. You can consult the product documentation, libraries API and download an evaluation version to be convinced of the simplicity of usage of the products for your own products.

  • Elliptic Curve Cryptographic ToolKit 1.1.3 The documentation of the product (cryptographic libraries) based on elliptic curve.
    • The version 1.0.0 is register by French government and can be used in France and European Union.
    • The version 1.1.1 is authorized by the French government authorization (numéro 34283) and can be used in France and Europeen Union without key size restriction.
    • Change log between the versions 1.0.0 and 1.1.1:
      • Remove keysize restriction for all algorithms
      • Add the support of the CTR mode for symetric algorithms
      • Add the Pseudo Random Generator ANSI X9.17 (with a usage of AES instead of DES)
      • General optimization of products performances
    • Change log between the versions 1.1.1 and 1.1.3
      • Add the support for all processors supported by MAC OS X (PPC 32 bits, PPC 64 bits, Intel 32 bits, Intel 64 bits)
  • Elliptic Curve Cryptographic ToolKit 1.1.3 evaluation You can download this evaluation version to test on-site the possibilies offer by the product and the simplicity of usage. Actually the available versions are for Windows, MAC OS X, Linux and FreeBSD. The restrictions on the evaluation version are :
    • Some cipher, hash, mac, hmac, algorithms are not available
    • The keysizes of symectric algorithms are limited to 64 bits
    • Some curves definition are not availables

Remarks

  • It's forbidden to distribute part or all of this evaluation version
  • It's forbidden to use part or all of this evaluation version on products, except for internal testing of the functionnalities of the product ECCTK
  • For contries outside European Union, it's require to request authorization at French government before export. This authorization will be requested if necessary.
